Bareilly – Students from the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programme at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University have achieved a notable milestone by securing a distinguished position at a national-level Business Hackathon organized by IMS Unison University.
The three-day event, held from April 2 to April 4 in Dehradun, witnessed participation from 48 teams across the country, including 32 teams competing offline and 16 teams joining online. Amid intense competition, the Rohilkhand University team impressed the jury with their business acumen, innovative thinking, and strategic problem-solving, earning a place among the top-performing teams.
The university team comprised Keshav Vats, Keshav Bhasin, Lakshya Yadav, Vishal, Ayushi Vaishya, Medhavi Dixit, and Anugrah Sharma. Their performance stood out for its creativity, teamwork, and practical approach to real-world business challenges.
Congratulating the students, Head of Department and Faculty Chairperson Tulika Saxena praised their achievement, stating that their performance at a national platform reflects both skill and discipline. She emphasized that the university remains committed to holistic student development and providing practical exposure, adding that the success is a result of the students’ dedication and the department’s strong mentorship.

Vice-Chancellor K P Singh also expressed pride in the students’ accomplishment, noting that such achievements not only enhance the university’s reputation but also set benchmarks for excellence and innovation. He highlighted that the success reflects the quality education and guidance provided by the institution and encouraged the students to continue pushing the boundaries of creativity and leadership.
